Wheels Up
This quarter I booked my first solo trip where I planned every detail myself—from booking the hotel to reserving the rental car and mapping
out what I wanted to do once I got there.
As an Event Director and Personal Assistant, I'm constantly behind the scenes coordinating logistics, anticipating needs, and making sure everyone else has an incredible experience. But this trip was different because I got to be the client.
I headed to Laughlin and, for the first time, created an itinerary completely around what sounded fun to me. Having the rental car gave me the freedom to explore, take spontaneous adventures, and experience the trip on my own terms instead of being tied to a room or schedule.
Looking back, it was one of those moments where you realize the business doesn't just provide income—it provides options. It provides freedom. And sometimes the biggest reminder of how far you've come is booking the trip, turning the key in the rental car, and realizing you're capable of navigating far more than you once believed.
